HAS ANYONE INVITED YOU TO BE A CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN?
Perhaps you are not a Catholic, but have regularly worshipped in the Catholic Church with your spouse, neighbor or friend and would like to discover more about the faith. Have you thought about becoming a Catholic but never pursued the idea? Are you an adult who has never been baptized and desires to know Christ within the Catholic Church?
We have a wonderful process in the Church called RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This journey of faith will resume in person on Sunday, September 8th after the 9:30 Mass in St. John’s Room in the Narthex (entrance to the Center). Come, see and discover what makes a Catholic tick!
Our resource is ‘SYCAMORE: The Catholic Faith Explained’. We will focus on such topics as ‘The Search for Happiness’, ‘The Existence of God’, ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘The Gift of Faith’, ‘Finding True Freedom’, ‘The Community of the Church’, to name just a few. This process is informative, interactive and exciting! The sessions will last from 10:30AM till 12:00 noon.
If you have any questions, please contact Charlie Stokes in the Faith Formation Office at [email protected] or call (727) 264-8968. Don't be afraid to invite someone to join this process, perhaps you live with them or know someone who is searching for true meaning and purpose to life. It is up to us all to invite others to come to know Christ.
